New York State Police troopers from Liberty stopped Edward Zebrowski, Jr., 20, of Bayville late on Sunday, Jan. 26, when he committed a vehicle and traffic violation.

According to police, at the time of the stop, Zebrowski was traveling on Route 17B in the Town of Bethel. During the subsequent traffic stop, it is alleged that Zebrowski was allegedly intoxicated and he was taken into police custody.

Zebrowski was one of 23 alleged impaired motorists removed from area roadways by troopers.

Zebrowski was charged with a misdemeanor count of driving while intoxicated. Following his processing, he was released to a sober third-party and issued a ticket to appear in court later this year to respond to the DWI charge.
